By CAITLIN MCDEVITT, POLITICO – Actress Ashley Judd is “a very serious potential candidate” for office, according to Kentucky Rep. John Yarmuth.

The congressman — who hinted at Judd’s political plans a few months ago — says she still might run, according to WDRB News.

“I think she’s very interested in becoming a candidate for some office,” Yarmuth said in an interview that aired Wednesday. “Whether it’s next year against Mitch McConnell or whether it’s against Rand Paul, whether it’s for some other office, I don’t know. But she’s a very serious potential candidate.”

Judd hasn’t said that she’ll run, but she hasn’t ruled out the possibility either.
