Executive Director Position Opening: TN Economic Council on Women

The Tennessee Economic Council on Women (TECW) is a state agency created by the One Hundredth General Assembly to serve as an economic advocate for women. Its mission is to address and improve the economic status of women with the vision of being the information source for Tennessee women. The TECW fulfills its mission through research projects, community programs, conferences, public hearings, public education and awareness campaigns, public presentations, among other initiatives.
Executive Director – Tennessee Economic Council on Women
The Tennessee Economic Council on Women seeks candidates for its Executive Director position. The Executive Director is the chief administrative officer of the Council and serves as the State’s leading advocate for women’s economic issues. The TECW office is currently located in the Snodgrass Tennessee Tower in downtown Nashville, TN. The Executive Director serves at the pleasure of and reports to the TECW.

The completed packet will include a letter of interest, current resume, and complete contact information for three current references. Incomplete applications will not be considered. Semi-finalists may be asked to participate in a telephone interview with members of the search committee; final interviews with the committee will be conducted in person in Nashville. Applications will be accepted through December 2, 2011.
