Emerge America – In 8 States and Growing

Emerge America inspires, recruits and trains Democratic women to run for office.  Emerge currently has affiliates in eight states with its ninth state, Kentucky, soon to be launched.  The Emerge training program includes a seven-month curriculum and networking experience for women thinking about running for office at every level.  From local city offices to congress, Emerge graduates are running and winning thanks to their comprehensive experience.

2010 Emerge classes will kick-off at various times throughout the year depending on the schedule set forth by the states’ affiliate boards.  Application deadlines are as follows:

Emerge Arizona – November 15, 2009

Emerge California – September 22, 2009

Emerge Massachusetts – September 22, 2009

Emerge Maine – October 1, 2009

Emerge Nevada – October 1, 2009

Emerge New Mexico -November 1, 2009 (early application) and December 1, 2009 (final deadline)

Emerge Oregon – October 26, 2009

Emerge Wisconsin – November 1, 2009

*Emerge Kentucky – TBA (class to begin in February)
