The Women’s City Club of New York will hold their 2013 Civic Spirit Awards Gala on Tuesday, April 30th. Honoring Gotham’s power brokers, the organization three business women: Lela Goren Founder & President G Group: Sara Horowitz, Founder and Executive Director Freelancers Union and Maria Melendez, Parter Sidley Austin LLP.

The Women’s City Club of New York was founded by suffragists in 1915 and is today a nonpartisan, nonprofit, multi-issue advocacy and membership organization that fosters informed citizen participation in shaping public policy decisions affecting New York.
