Ayanna Pressley

Massachusetts will hold a primary election on Tuesday, April 30, 2013.  Two women to watch, Boston City Councilor Ayanna Pressley, the first African American woman to serve on the council is up for re-election. We will also be watching Linda Dorcena Forry who is currently an eight-year state representative who is running for the state senate in the Democratic primary.

A primary for Secretary of State John Kerry’s U.S. Senate seat is also being held Tuesday but no women are entered in that race.
