Tonight it was the Democratic women of senate’s turn to take the stage at the Democratic party convention.  Led by 26-year veteran, Senator Barbara Mikulski, the  twelve women Democrats stood in support of increasing their numbers by putting their record-number of women candidates in office this year.

Senator Mikulski said “we need more of us in office,” and she went on to say that the Democratic women in the Senate “work on the macro issues and we work on the macaroni and cheese issues.”
