Remembering the women of Pearl Harbor
December 7, 2011
Seventy years ago Americans were impacted in a way like no other when the Japanese attacked the United States’ Pacific fleet at Pearl Harbor Hawaii. The women of the Pearl Harbor disaster were wives, mothers, daughters who took up a post. As firefighters, nurses, secretaries and volunteers, women were there to pick up the pieces, repair the damage and heal those who were injured and whose lives were destroyed. Following are links to articles about the women who were there at Pearl Harbor.
