Marie Wilson Appoints Tiffany Dufu as the Second President of The White House  – The White House Project Board of Directors and Staff are thrilled to announce Tiffany Dufu as the second President of The White House Project. After 12 groundbreaking years leading The White House Project, Marie Wilson passes the torch of leadership to Tiffany today, January 20th, our country’s Inauguration Day.  “I can think of no better time to transfer the reins of power of The White House Project to the next generation,” says Marie. “Tiffany is an extraordinary leader whose competence and passion for our mission will take the work to an entirely new level. For a founder, there is nothing more satisfying than leaving a loved institution in such worthy hands.”

At this pivotal time in TWHP’s history, Tiffany Dufu is an ideal leader to enter into the role as president. As a young dynamic leader, a mother of two, and respected role model, she is the very kind of woman we look to train and position for success. Tiffany has furthered her life’s work of advancing women and girls at The White House Project for the last four years, most recently as Vice President of Development and Administration. Beth Brooke, TWHP Board Chair, shares her enthusiasm, “I have known Tiffany to be a fearless leader with a passion for pragmatic solutions and an unwavering commitment to social justice. I very much look forward to the Board’s strategic partnership with Tiffany as she leads the organization to even greater impact.”

Over the course of her 15-year career, Tiffany has raised nearly $20 million for nonprofits and brings a fervor for taking The White House Project to new heights. “We want to catapult the US from 72nd in women’s political leadership to #1.  I am eager to show our nation the progressive change that can happen when The White House Project arms millions of women with the tools to create new outcomes that benefit us all.”
