Candidate for Pittsburgh Mayor – Carmen Robinson

Pittsburgh resident, Carmen L. Robinson, 40, has filed to run for mayor of Pittsburgh, PA in the May primary.  Ms. Robinson  was a Pittsburgh police officer for 15 years and is now a judicial clerk with a law degree from Duquesne University.

Ms. Robinson described herself as a “blue collar candidate” when she announced her candidacy in January.

 

A member of the National Organization of Women and the League of Women Voters, Robinson is set to take on the incumbent Mayor Ravenstahl by campaigning on public safety and city finances.
