Commissioner Tracey Glenn

Tracey Glenn was elected to the Williamson County (Illinois) Commission in 2006. Williamson County is located in southern Illinois midway between St. Louis, Missouri and Owensboro, Kentucky. Tracey fought a heated primary election before taking on the incumbent in the general election. She won the race hands down by a two to one margin, and was subsequently elected as the first female Chairman of the Commission Board in December 2008.
Tracey Glenn is a small business owner of 1 Source Marketing firm located in Herrin, Illinois. During her years in business, Tracey has served her community through both business and non-profit organizations. She served as the past chairman of the Marion Chamber of Commerce and served as a board member for the Regional Economic Development Corporation. Tracey is also a graduate of the Delta Regional Authority Leadership Institute.
Tracey’s community involvement includes vice chair positions with the Southern Illinois United Way and the Williamson County Tourism Bureau. She has served as a member of a number of services boards for Williamson County including the Child Advocacy Center and the Coalition Against Meth Abuse.
Tracey Glenn is an example of a civic and business leader who stepped up to the call of service to strengthen her community. Tracey balances her government and business careers with her family responsibilities that include her husband Bill and four children.
